USS are built according to national and international standers like IEC 60076, IS 1180, IS11171 ANSI C57, IS : 14786:2000 etc.,

A Substation typically consists of HT (VCB,LBS & RMU), Distribution Transformer, LT (ACB,MCCB) board all interconnected as a single unit. HT can be provided to customer specification. Distribution transformers can be provided oil or dry type. Similarly LT distribution board can be customized with choice of breakers or fuses with specific requirements of number of outgoings.
